Bars and Clubs

Most Honolulu gay nightlife is located in and around Waikiki. You'll encounter all types of people, from US service members to European tourists to visitors from other Pacific islands and Japan.

Bacchus (408 Lewers St., 2nd floor), bar/lounge,friendly staff, delicious drinks, great prices; popular with locals and visitors. Weekend DJs and special parties. 
Never a cover. 

Fusion (2260 Kuhio Ave., 2nd floor) drag shows and occasional male dancers, Friday and Saturday open until 4am.

Hula's Bar & Lei Stand (134 Kapahulu Ave., 2nd floor Waikiki Grand Hotel), beach bar, day lounge and nightclub, open daily 10am. Live music, video dance club, DJs/VJs, billiards, dancers and food served.  Minimal cover after 9pm only Thurs, Fri, Sat.

In Between (2155 Lauula St.), very small neighborhood karaoke bar, mixed crowd, casual atmosphere; $1 per song.

Scarlet (80 S. Pauahi St.), dance club and tiki bar located in Chinatown. Honolulu's newest club has great drag shows with big name performers.

Tapas (407 Seaside Ave, 2nd Floor), bar/patio and lounge, Sunday brunch, music, special parties.

Wang Chung's (2424 Koa Ave), friendly, fresh and exotic karaoke neighborhood bar with Japanese food and drinks; located within the Stay Hotel.
